Afternoon Music Club
Music Scholarship — Phoenixville Area
To fulfill our goal of supporting and encouraging promising young artists, we are pleased to announce a yearly competition for a scholarship ($1,500.00 in 2008) to a graduating senior who plans to major in music education or music performance.
The applicant must be a student or home-schooled within the following school districts: Great Valley, Methacton, Norristown, Owen J. Roberts, Perkiomen Valley, Phoenixville Area, Pottsgrove, Pottstown, Spring-Ford Area plus St. Pius and Kimberton Waldorf.
Students must be recommended by their private and/or high school instrumental or vocal music teacher.
Interested students must submit the attached application no later than April 15, 2008. Late applications will not be accepted. Scholarship auditions are scheduled for the morning of Tuesday April 22, 2008 and will be held at Community Music School located at 775 West Main Street in Trappe.
