Afternoon Music Club

Providing Classical Music Concerts since 1945 

Our mission is to spread an interest in good

music in Phoenixville and vicinity and to give all possible

encouragement and assistance to

promising young artists. 

           We offer six concerts a year of classical music by live performers.  In addition to our printed programs and background notes, the artists explain the music they are performing.  After the concert we have light refreshments where we can chat with the artists and meet our friends.

          We support young musicians with our annual scholarship award.  High school seniors vie for funds via a performance competition.  This year's award (in May 2008) will be $1,500.

          Membership is available to all who apply.  Our dues are $30.00 per person or $50.00 per couple.
